1.Information You Give Us
When you sign up for our emails, download a free resource, take a quiz, make a purchase, leave a comment, or contact us, you may give us your name, email address, mailing address, and payment information. Payment information goes directly to our payment processors. We do not see or store your full card details.
We use this information to deliver what you signed up for or bought, answer your questions, and send you emails about our Content, Courses, and offers.
2.Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, our service providers automatically collect some information, such as your IP address, general location, the type of device and browser you use, the pages you view, and how you got to the Site. Some of this is collected through cookies and pixels, explained below.
3.When We Collect Information
We collect information when you sign up for, buy, or download something from the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form, take a quiz, contact us, or browse the Site. You do not need to give us any Personal Information just to read the Site.
4.How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver your Courses, downloads, and account access.
- Process your payments and keep purchase records.
- Answer your questions and support requests.
- Send emails about the Site, Courses, Services, and Products, including newsletters and offers.
- Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
- Show our ads to people who have visited the Site, on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
- Comply with the law and protect our rights.
5.Who We Share Information With
We share limited information with service providers who help us run the Site:
- Kajabi hosts the Site, our Courses, and your account.
- Mailchimp sends the emails you signed up for, using your name and email.
- Stripe and PayPal process payments.
- ClickBank credits affiliates for sales they refer.
- Nudgify shows recent-activity pop-ups using a first name, last initial, and country. To opt out, contact us through our contact page.
- Google Analytics shows us how visitors use the Site.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives visit data from the Meta Pixel so we can show and measure our ads.
We may also share information when the law requires it, such as to respond to a court order or government request, or to protect the safety of any person. If our business is sold, restructured, or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner under the same protections described here.
We do not sell your name, email address, or other Personal Information. Some state privacy laws treat sharing information with advertising platforms through pixels as "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out of this using the choices in the Cookies and Pixels section below.
6.Cookies and Pixels
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember you. Pixels are small pieces of code that tell a service, like Meta or Google, that you visited a page. We and our service providers use them to keep you logged in, remember your checkout, understand Site traffic, credit affiliates, and show and measure our ads.
Your choices:
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site, like logging in and checking out, may not work without them.
- You can control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook ad preferences.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- You can opt out of interest-based ads from many companies through the Network Advertising Initiative.
Do Not Track: Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond, so the Site does not currently respond to these signals.
7.Emails
If you are outside the EU and UK, when you sign up for a free resource, webinar, or Course, or buy something from us, you will be added to our email list. If you are in the EU or UK, we will only add you to our email list if you agree to it.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop emails about something you bought, like login details or receipts. If you have trouble unsubscribing, contact us through our contact page and we will remove you.
In line with the CAN-SPAM Act, we will not use false or misleading subject lines, we will include our mailing address in our marketing emails, and we will honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
8.How We Protect Your Information
The Site uses SSL encryption, and payments are processed by secure payment providers, not on our servers. Access to your Personal Information is limited to people who need it to run the business and who are required to keep it confidential. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we learn of a data breach that affects your Personal Information, we will notify you as required by law.
9.How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or are on our email list, and as long as we need it to deliver your purchases, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and follow the law. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
10.Your Choices and Rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the Personal Information we have about you by contacting us through our contact page. We may need to confirm your identity first. We may keep some information when the law requires it, such as purchase records.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
11.If You Are in the EU or UK
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we use your information to deliver what you asked for or bought (to perform our contract with you), with your consent (for example, marketing emails), and for our legitimate business interests (for example, improving the Site). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or move your information, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Your information is processed in the United States, where our service providers are located.
12.Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not enter any Personal Information on the Site. Courses made for children, such as Kids Master OCD, must be purchased and managed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us Personal Information, contact us through our contact page and we will delete it.
13.Your Account and Password
If you create an account, please keep your login details private and do not share them. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone has used your account without permission, let us know right away through our contact page.
14.Links to Other Websites
The Site may link to other websites, such as YouTube, Patreon, or Facebook. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.
15.California Visitors
In line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), this Privacy Policy is linked in the footer of the Site, and we will post any changes on this page and update the date at the bottom.
16.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date below. If we make a major change to how we use information we already have, we will let you know before it takes effect.
17.Contact
